Emerald Tree Accounting Services is a small, Winnipeg-based company specializing in virtual bookkeeping services for small to mid-size companies looking to grow their businesses. With over thirty years of experience, we're able to provide remote cloud-based bookkeeping and accounting solutions that are tailor-made to fit a wide variety of businesses across the country. Mira has supervised accounting teams, managed year-end audits and charity returns, produced board-ready financial statements for nonprofits and churches, and mentors other bookkeepers while designing efficient workflows and onboarding processes for remote service delivery.

With over 25 years of experience across not-for-profit, retail, manufacturing, and property management sectors, Mira delivers full-cycle bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll support, and sales tax reconciliations for a diverse portfolio of clients. A QBO Certified ProAdvisor, CPB Certified Professional Bookkeeper, and Pure Bookkeeping Licensee, she is proficient with QuickBooks Desktop & Online, DEXT/AutoEntry, Payworks and Excel.

A dedicated mother of three and avid pet lover, Mira balances family life with work bringing a practical, client-focused approach to bookkeeping—prioritizing clear communication, strong controls, and continuous improvement—to help clients maintain accurate financials and make informed decisions.

Cynthia stokes is a certified bookkeeping professional here at Emerald Tree. She attended school specifically for bookkeeping at Career City College and graduated in 2021. Since then, she has been helping Emerald Tree clients in a variety of industries, including retail, non-profits, film studios, and more.

In her spare time, Tia likes playing video games, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
Adam Boroski - Administrator
Adam's main job is our administrator, and as such, he handles client interactions, document handling and upload, scheduling, and other various duties for our company. He also assists in bookkeeping duties when called upon, and is proficient in Quickbooks Online, DEXT/AutoEntry, and Excel.
Adam's desk job is juxtaposed with a life outside of work that is full of physical activity and daily discipline. Something which helps him in his daily duties as our company admin.
